Why become a Lion?

People become Lions for many reasons:

To give back and help their fellow citizens. It’s the ideal opportunity to fill one’s feeling of responsibility to their community and society as a whole. We get satisfaction from helping others.


To enjoy fellowship. Being a Lion is a great way to meet people and make new friends. Lions have fun in everything they do whether it’s attending their monthly dinner meeting or serving hot dogs at a fund-raiser.

To become a leader. Lions Clubs offer many opportunities to make a difference at all levels from chairing a committee on the local level to becoming president of Lions Clubs International.

A Lion is one who accepts responsibility to help others and serves in whatever capacity they can
