Who are we?

We are people from and around the Holliston area who enjoy giving back to the community. We have the chance through the Holliston Lions.

What do we do?

Members give their time as they are able. All is appreciated. We are motivated by our friendship and camaraderie for one another. We do have fun!

• We have a once a month dinner meeting the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Restaurant 45 in Medway.
• We run a carnival in Holliston in the summer.
• We hold the Lions Triathlon in town.
• We have a Superbowl Breakfast.
• Thanksgiving High School Kick-off Football Breakfast.
• Mother’s Day Brunch.
• White Cane Drive.
• Golf and Gamble.
• We participate in many other functions and events in town.
• We also participate in other Lion functions in our area such as the Lions Eyemobile, where health screenings are offered free of charge to the public.

The Lions, in cooperation with Lenscrafters, recycle used eyeglasses for the needy in developing nations who cannot afford new glasses. We encourage people to drop off their used eyeglasses in any one of our drop boxes in convenient locations throughout town, including the Post Office, Library and Senior Center.

Lions Mints are sold in a variety of business places throughout the town. The mints are available in and assortment of flavors. All profits from mint sales go directly towards our charities.

 

 

Where does the money go?

All of the money that we raise goes towards our local, regional and worldwide charity efforts. Members are not paid and do not promote their business. All meals and administrative expenses are paid for by members.

The Holliston Lions are an integral part of the Holliston Community.

Through Lions International, we responded to the aid of victims of the Malaysian Tsunami in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
